Stomach discomfort can be unpleasant for both pet and owner; these little mishaps can happen anywhere. Paxxin  is natural blend of herbs designed to give the owner some peace of mind when it comes to:

• Supporting the gastrointestinal tract
• Supporting the normal functions of the gut
• Supporting the immune system
• Occasional loose stool
• Occasional rumbling
• Occasional change of color in stool
• Lethargy ( associated with normal body stress)

Paxxin works to help keep your pet in peak condition. Paxxin can be taken daily to help maintain proper and normal digestion, or when a little extra help is needed.  For felines, use Kitty-DT.

Directions for Use:

CANINES

• General: give orally every 15 minutes for the first hour, then every hour until the animal's stomach is calm for 6 hours.  Afterwards, give 4 times daily for 2-3 days.
• Immune Support: give orally 4 times daily for 5 days, take a 2 day break, then give 2 times daily for 5 days.

BIRDS, RABBITS & GUINEA PIGS

Add 20 drops to every 8 oz of water.

Helpful Recipes

OAT WATER

Oat Water can be used for a homemade electrolyte fluids for canines.

• 1/2 gallon of water
• 1 cup of oats (Quaker Oats is OK)
• 1/3 cup of molasses
• 1 tsp of salt

Bring the water to a boil then add oats, salt, and molasses.  Boil for 5 minutes then let sit for 20 minutes.  After 20 minutes strain off the oats.

EMERGENCY TEA

This tea helps settles occasional upset stomachaches.

• 1 cup of Oat Water
• 2 tea bags of herbal peppermint with spearmint tea (we recommend "Bigelow's Mint Medle" tea)
• 2 tea bags of Chamomile tea
• 2 tea bags of Echinacea tea or 400 mg capsules
• 2 tsp. finely chopped fresh garlic

Heat (do not boil) 1 cup of oat water in a stainless steel or glass pot.  Add the rest of the ingredients while the oat water is warm.  Let sit until cool.  Administer the tea.

BEEF LIVER

A great recipe that provides extra protein to canines with an upset stomach.

• 2 slices of beef liver
• Oat Water or electrolyte fluid
• 1/4 of a ripe banana

Boil the beef liver until thoroughly cooked.  Begin blending and add enough oat water or electrolyte fluid until the beef liver is thin enough to suck up into a syringe.  Add banana then add more oat water or electrolyte fluid if needed.

Administer Beef Liver every 3 hours.

Do not give more Beef Liver than recommended in the chart below; which may cause additional diarrhea.

• Under 3 lbs..............1/8 tsp
• 2-3 lbs.....................1/4 tsp
• 4-10 lbs...................1/2 tsp
• 11-20 lbs....................1 tsp
• 21-30 lbs....................2 tsp
• 31-40 lbs....................1 Tbsp
• 41-50 lbs....................2 Tbsp

Add an additional 1 Tbsp for each 10 lbs of body weigh over 50 lbs.
